The properties and uses of lithium products
1、 lithium hydroxide monohydrate
White crystal ,molecular formula: LiOH.H2O.
Uses: as additive to aluminum smelting, can cut down electric consumption and raise output.
Broadly used in industries of glass and ceramics, can improve products. Also as the important additive to products such as lithic-grease, alkaline storage batteries, corrosion-----resisting zinc pigment etc,and as absorbent of carbon dioxide.
Packing : In plastic bag of 25kg net lined with two layers of polyethylene bags.
Caution: both liquid and solid of this product present a high alkalinity .No contact of this product with skin ,eyes and clothe .

Uses: Mainly used to make lithium batteries ,light alloy of lithium and aluminum, organic vitamins of synthetization and synthetic, rubber etc. As cooling agent in nuclear fission reactors and main material of proliferation in nuclear fusion reactors .
Packing :Vacuum wrapped with aluminum foil and put in clean and dry vessel
Caution : It is strongly reductive very easy to oxidize and burns furiously or explode when contacting water.

Silvery simple substance, element symbol: Li
